HO HUM !!

Today was volunteer day. Phillip dropped me off at the senior center and went on up to the church to tote boxes for the old folks. The semi that delivers the food boxes was quite late today and Phillip said he had to go the bathroon so bad by the time it got there his bottom teeth were begining to float. So there he was. toting heavy boxes with a groaning bladder and it took some of the olders forever to get to their cars then he had to wait while they finally figured out he couldn't open a door or trunk with a box in his hands. He was practically running when he got to the senior center and to the bathroom. Anyway with the food truck late to get to the senior center, some of the oldsters left with out getting a box of food. We had the bags of beans and rice done and were waiting. Not only were they late but they didn't bring all the stuff they were supposed to. They didn't bring any meat of any kind nor canned fish like they sometimes do. No juice or fruit either. The old folks who did stay around were complaining loud, but there wasn't a damn thing I could do about it but agree it was a shame they had to come in to get what they did get. Oh well!! Like I say, shit happens.

Since we were down that way we went over to the river to see if the trees were leafed out there yet. It's a lower elevation but the trees are still just budding out like up here in Wilhoit. All week we have been hearing about a big storm coming in this week end that is supposed to dump about a foot of snow in Flagstaff and down to the 3000 foot level lower in the state. We are over 5000 feet here. Supposed to get some record cold weather along with it. If that happens all the fruit trees blooming all around here will be hit hard again like last year.

Who knows? It was up in the high 60's here today and in high 80's down below. Wouldn't be the first time this shit happened, it did the last two years. Global warming my butt.
