Hey! It's a great life if you don't weaken.

Snowed all weekend and Monday too. Sunshine yesterday so
most of it melted. Just a few patches left this morning.
Phillip and I went down below and dug some quartz crystals.
Mostly cloudy but at least it was 67 degrees down there compared to 45 or a little better up here.
Your cousin David Kravetz is on facebook now. He looks a lot like Bill. Had to go to TX for some reason. He answered my email and should hear from him when he gets back to KY. I wanted to get a copy of the painting of Pascal Hanks that is in the OK State Capital Bldg. He is supposed to have a picture of it.
Here is a cool link to an awsome 3D site with 360 degree pictures of Utah. www.utah3d.net/index.html

A new day.

We thought it was drying up all over the desert.
.
Not so. We went out one day and collected geodes in one place and a few days later we went to another place and this is what we found.
Up in the high desert it had dried out but down in the lower parts it is still very wet.
Still raining. 3 days now. Good for the flowers I hope. Even with the rain, we haven't had real cold weather.
The last time we went out to the area south of Agulia Phillip looked for more fire opal and I looked for arrowheads. Found 2, both with the tips broken off.
Sunshine was warm and when I had enough of the walking around I sat in a folding chair in the sunshine and read. Phillip came back with a few more chunks of rock with small viens of blue fire opal. Now if he can just find some big enough to cut a big cab.
Blue-birds are still down here. I don't know when they head back up north. The robins haven't came through yet on their way north either. They usually stay for a week or so and strip the berries off the hackberry tree in the front yard before heading north again.
