Rats!!
Water Water everywhere and not a drop to drink. Tried to up load a video but don't know how. It uploaded but didn't post. I'm computer illiterate when it comes to stuff like that.
Yeah videos can be a pain. I have another blog (thanks to Grandma inspiring me!) that I have with my snowboarding buddies. We upload movies all the time. Usually there is one of two problems with videos.
1) the file size is too big. I use medium quality (can't remember the number of pixels and bit rate but some videos come out pretty grainy) and try to keep the video length under 5 minutes.
2) there are only a few file types that Blogger supports. I think I've had good luck with MPEG 4 format. I use iMovie for video editing and it's high quality format is something like *.mv4. It looks good but I can't upload to Blogger
There are times though I haven't been able to post a video, even short ones (<1 minute) with a small file size. Sometimes just giving it a second (or third or fifth time) can yield results. Sometimes I think Blogger is just on the fritz.
Another trick you can do is to use some other website and just post a link. One of my buddies uploads his videos to Youtube and just posts a URL link in his Blogger post.
