The primroses were blooming. I thought I'd capture a pic of one.

This is a small holly oak bush. These things grow to gigantic proportions. Phillip took some pics of some of the bigger ones I will post some of the pics he took another time.

He had to come out and see what I was doing, so I took a pic of him.

I came within inches of stepping on this horned toad. He is really a lizzard. I had to coax him out in the sunlight to get a good clear pic of him. They look almost prehistoric.
