More from the canyon.

Wonder how many years it took to erode all this?
Hard capstone chunks must weigh tons. It keeps the softer under rock from eroding too fast.
There are both wolves and cayotes in the area and Phillip said he thought this was from a cayote. Yes the formations are awesome. I finally got to go down in the canyon on a road we found by looking at Google. I'm going to put the co-ords on the blog if anyone is interested in looking at them.

Neat rock formations! Was that a wolf or coyote skull? Those chompers do look pretty long and sharp.
