Pink tree canyon

Phillip and I went out to pink tree canyon last Saturday. There are a lot more flowers blooming up there than down on the desert. Got a few pictures. Didn't take any more of the pink tree because I put some pictures of it before on the emails. A lot of the stuff is just starting to bloom. Things are about 3 weeks late this year. We had a cooler spring than last year.
We went back up yesterday and got more pictures of the flowers and got more agate. Found some really great specimens as well. Saw a vine growing that we never saw before. one tree was almost covered in this vine. At first I thought it was coyote gourds but it has seed pods on it like the ones on the datura. All prickly. Got pictures but haven't processed them yet. I want to get some pictures of the rocks we got after they are all cleaned up. Some weirdo ones in this bunch.
Don't know how much gas is up your way but it is 3.15 a gal. down here. Looks like the gas prices will keep us down here in AZ this summer.
Phillip has the garden up and growing good even though it's been cool. The squash and melons are planted in cups and will be ready to transplant pretty soon. We had a frost on sunday so was glad they were still in cups. Last year at this time we were eating new radishes. Gonna be a week or so yet before this years are ready. The garden should do real good with all the manure we hauled to put on it. Soil here is all granite sand.
Got some lupin seeds to put in and wanted to get some petunia and snapdragon seeds as well but couldn't find any. Gonna have to look somewhere else for them than wal-mart I guess. Some of the poppies came up from last year but don't know what else yet. Too many weeds yet to tell. Old flower bed is most weeds because I wasn't here to keep them out.
