I wanted to tell you, the IRS phone scam is going around again. Got a
call while I was painting today. Man didn't ask who he was speaking
to, didn't ask for anyone in particular. He said he was from the IRS
and they were going to sue me for fradulent deductions. Said to call
so and so about case number such and such, to get this straightened
out with less cost to me with out lawsuit. I told him to sue away,
dude. Never got an answer, was just a recording. Same thing happened
last year and the message was left on the answering machine. Phillip
got it and went ape shit figuring we were going to get sued. He
did'nt catch the fact there was no one person named, or asked for. I
told him it was just a bunch of bull shit. For one thing the IRS would
never phone. They would write or end up one your doorstep.
Finished two paintings today and worked on a third. I was going to
take pics of them then remembered Phillp had the camera and he was out
prospecting. I will get it, take pics and post them later.
Been getting a lot of rain this month. Only had one real bad one.
Micro burst. Lots of nasty hail , wind and rain that wrecked the
garden, knocked limbs and leaves from the big tree out front and broke
the cottonwood tree at the corner of the house clean in half. Top
just missed the motor home by a foot.
